Medal of Honor game seeing its US release date today (Tuesday, October 12th), this is one of the greatest game that gamers wait for the release. So after searched I found some review for Medal of Honor game.
The first review from Official xbox magazine. This review gave the “Medal of Honor” game a rating of 88 percent out of 100, and noted a few good points as well as a few downsides. While this review praises the game for its strong story line and excellent multiplayer mode, it does note the disappointment in its short campaign.
The next review comes from Tom Bramwell from eurogamer.net, who gave it an 8/10 rating. Although this review claims that the multiplayer is close to that of “Bad Company 2,” it does go on to say that it would be hard to put it down in any way.
It’s the multiplayer – which features five game modes – that appears to be praised again in this review, while the script and storyline has been described as mixed outside of the action. The final review that I came across is a video review from Arthur Gies at uk.ign.com.
While other reviews praise the storyline, this one claims that it has a few major issues. Another criticism is the single player gameplay, which they claim gets tedious at times. This review rates the audio and visuals on the plus side, while noting a spotty framerate and boring levels as the downside.
Gamesradar thought the campaign warranted a "good" 7/10 and the multiplayer component a "great 8/10. "If you've tired of CoD, Medal of Honor might be just the medicine you need," it said.
Edge gave the game 7/10, saying "EA's sombre reboot proves a mostly convincing representation of modern warfare, but lacks the bravado of its peers."
Elsewhere, Joystiq awarded the title 4/5, concluding: "Medal of Honor's campaign is an exceptional experience, but the total package simply doesn't beat Call of Duty."
And Eurogamer gave it an 8/10, noting: "... It's compelling and enjoyable to play on a visceral level, but it's a shame it lacks the creative bravery to match the courage of the heroes it so reveres."
According to IGN UK the campaign is too short, this isn’t a problem for me as I am more interested in multiplayer gaming, however IGN UK also say that “multiplayer will probably wear out its welcome faster than other big shooters this year”, this is what really worries me.
IGN suggest that the maps grow old quickly, this could be its downfall as people will not want to play online for too long if the maps really are this bad, perhaps DLC could improve things, however it is not promising to hear that a reviewer has noticed this in a relatively short amount of time.
Love or hate Modern Warfare 2 you have to admit that all of the multiplayer maps offer different styles of gameplay and don’t really seem similar to one and another, obviously map packs have helped to keep the game fresh once the 15 initial offerings got boring, so I really hope Danger Close have some map packs up their sleeve.
