Daylight saving states they are doing their clocks forward on Saturday night is being set reminded. Daylight savings(AEST) 0200, when the clocks ahead one hour will be on Sunday, begins October 3.
The New South Wales and Victoria are going to turn forward their clocks at midnight of tomorrow to leave the Queensland one hour behind its southern neighboring states.
The Ipswich Chamber of Commerce and Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale have called for a federal intervention over this issue. The parliament has the power to make laws for the peace, order and good government of the Commonwealth with respect to measures and weights.
The Mayor Mr. Paul Pisasale said he would like to see the implementation of that power when it came to enforce a uniform time zone on the eastern seaboard.
The state government is not taking any step over this issue so the federal government is interfering in this issue. This issue is leaving a bad impact on the commerce and industry of the country.
